Introduction

Where to begin? I mean Tarot is such a vast expanse of never-ending knowledge. Every time I pick up a deck I learn something new. And with each new deck, there is always something new to discover.

For those who are new to Tarot let me tell you what Tarot is. It is a set of 78  cards – 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana which is closely connected to the Major Arcana is further divided into 4 elements under Fire, Water, Air and Earth representing Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles respectively. (Names can change depending on decks). They are a method of Divination and can also be used as playing cards. We are following the former. Traditionally the art of Divination is the act of telling the future but It is also a means of self-discovery.  I believe the Future is constantly changing and hence one can never really predict the future but understand our position in the Present.

Astrology and Tarot are intrinsically linked and I believe we can make the most of their potential when used together. I hope I can learn more of them as I write this blog. I have been dabbling with tarot for quite some time now yet I consider myself a novice. On the other hand am much more adept with Astrology or more specifically Vedic Astrology.  This blog is an attempt to educate my readers and me into the world of divination.

Each time we learn something new we also find something about ourselves, and at the end of the day finding ourselves is what life is all about.

Have you ever wondered why some things happen? What’s the reason behind it? or if something is holding you back? what it is that you fear? The need to know is what drives us. Tarot and Astrology are one of the tools that help us find the path.

In fact, there is something spiritual about them that guides us through our journey. Silent and watchful.

The blog will cover basics first. I hope my discovery in this magical world will be useful to you as well.  Let us Begin.
